Our New Addition
Founded in 1862, Children's Service Center is an organization with a proud history. Today we stand on the threshold of an exciting new expansion of our facilities and services. Our new addition is yet another step in the right direction, building an even brighter future for children, adolescents, and their families in the Wyoming Valley.
The new 9000 square foot addition, and rennovation of the existing 7000 square foot Children's Home of Wilkes-Barre on South Franklin Street, will provide Children's Service Center with a state-of-the-art space to better address the needs of those in service.
The new addition will provide a much needed indoor multi-purpose space for children to exercise and learn. It also provides the opportunity to expand the Partial Program and allows more space for the many specialized programs operated by the Children's Service Center.
