On Thursday, October 4, 2018 the Children's Service Center received the 2018 Innovation Award from the Rehabilitation & Community Providers Association (RCPA) at its annual conference at the Hershey Lodge.

The Children's Service Center was honored for the introduction of its unique Integrated Clinical Health Care Program that serves CSC's clients with a "Medical Home" by providing behavioral, medical and pharmaceutical services on site at its new clinic at 335 South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre.

"Thank you to the RCPA for this great honor which I share with the CSC's Board of Directors and the best staff anywhere. We are already witnessing the positive impact of the Integrated Care program on our clients. Providing a medical home will continue to improve health outcomes that promote a bright future for the great kids, adolescents, adults, and families we serve," said Mike Hopkins, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Children's Service Center.
