Family Based Service

The Family Based Service Program provides intensive therapeutic interventions to help youths with serious emotional health challenges stay with their families and to minimize the need for placement in more restrictive environments such as inpatient or residential settings. The program promotes stabilization of mental health symptoms, provides families the support needed to re- stabilize their home environment, promotes use of natural and community based services to address both family and individual needs for at risk of placement youth with serious mental health challenges.

Population Served: This program serves children and adolescents with serious mental health challenges at risk of out of home placement who are between the ages 4 and 18 and who are in need of intensive treatment and family interventions to prevent out of home placement.
